Soul | Kabluka Light&Digital Sculptures by Expolight × Kyiv Design Week

ADDRESS

8002 Zürich
Former ticket hall

MON–SUN

05:00–23:45

The installation “Soul” by Ukrainian lighting designer Mykola Kabluka transforms the historic ticket office at Bahnhof Enge into an immersive, magical world. The wave-like projection moves slowly, enveloping passersby in soft colors and shapes. Light as a metaphor for non-material colors and the creative energy of the soul.

Mykola Kabluka and his team at Expolight have realized more than 2000 projects of varying complexity all over the world. They are leaders in the field of lighting design in Ukraine and have won numerous awards for their work globally. Expolight uses light to create positive emotions: comfort, safety, self-confidence, joy and aesthetic well-being.

The light installation at Bahnhof Enge is implemented by Kabluka Light&Digital Sculptures by Expolight (Dnipro, Ukraine) – a collaboration between Zurich Design Weeks and Kyiv Design Week. After the first Kyiv Design Week took place in two countries simultaneously last year, this year it will be held in Kyiv. To continue the collaboration between the two design festivals, each event will send a project to the other city.
